2009 International Dinner

Every year, Welcoming the Stranger presents a buffet dinner where the food is prepared and served by our students. The food is representational of the cooking in their home countries. The International Dinner is a wonderful and flavorful experience of the best dishes from our international students. Welcoming the Stranger has educated more than 1,700 students from 84 different countries over the past ten years. The authentic flavors of our international cuisines are brought to you by our current students.

In the past, we have served dishes from Russia, India, Liberia, Peru, Greece, Bosnia, Mexico, Poland, Korea, Japan, Colombia, Malaysia, Syria, Pakistan and Cambodia. This year, we added Costa Rico and Lithuania.

The dinner was held on October 10, 2009 at the Christian Life Center 3100 Galloway Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The official registration and financial information of Welcoming the Stranger may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll-free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999.
