WELCOMING THE STRANGER'S 11th Annual International Dinner At St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hall on October 15, 2011 at 6 PM ...was a smashing success!
Lots of food, lots of people, lots of countries. This annual dinner features food prepared by the students of the Welcoming the Stranger English, Computer, and Citizenship classes. In addition to the abundance of food, there was a silent auction and a raffle to benefit the Welcoming the Stranger ministry. Crispen Masuka, an African drummer from Zimbabwe, provided lively entertainment. All the food for the 140 guests was donated and prepared entirely by the students from the Welcoming the Stranger classes. The proceeds from dinner ticket sales, the raffle, and the auction came to nearly $4,000. If you missed this event but would like to support our efforts, just click the button below. |
